pickI really enjoyed this book. I read most of the poems in it several times, letting the lines sink in before I moved to the next one. I really like his style. The phrase I‘ll remember most is from “Poetry Workshop Held in a Former Cigar Factory in Key West.” It is this—- “3 flawless poems in a lifetime if you‘re lucky—“ Would that I were that lucky indeed!!
When we read this, the last poem in this collection, my daughter and I were afraid Collins was saying #goodbye. Fortunately, he kept writing. 😀 #poetrymatters @LazyDays
