Daddy's Girl
Daddy's Girl: A Clare Hart Mystery | Margie Orford
3 posts | 1 to read
How far would you go? A little girl waits alone to be picked up after ballet classuntil an unmarked car approaches, and she is gone. But this little girl is the daughter of Police Captain Riedwaan Faizal. He is desperate to rescue her, but, suspended from the squad, he finds himself powerless. With nobody on his side, the captain turns to investigative journalist and criminal profiler Dr. Clare Hart, whose documentary about Cape Town's missing young girls has made her a local celebrity. Clare knows that the odds of a child's survival dwindle with each passing minute. She knows that hiding her investigation from the police has its own dangers. But she will do anything to help a heartbroken father even if it puts all their lives at risk. Daddy's Girl is a dark and compelling crime story that will thrill fans of Deon Meyer and Tess Gerritsen.

1. This is my daddy and I when I was in, probably. Second grade. I miss him so much, every single day. 2. I'm up for a promotion!! 3. Another copy of An Ember in the Ashes to send to a friend. 4 what did the buffalo say when his son left for college? Bison 5. Depends on the day, but more than any other social media. #humpdaypost

Today is the anniversary of my dad's death. It's been 7 years now & that doesn't seem possible. I'm on the left in this photo, you can see how much I adored him. I try to remember that I got 27 years with a man I loved more than anything, not everyone is that lucky, rather than focusing on how time got cut short. I miss him every single day. He read anything he could get his hands on & would start reading the encyclopedia if he ran out of books.😥

DebinHawaii Sending you hugs. 💜💜💜I lost my dad almost 21 years ago and although it gets easier with time, I still miss him very much. We are lucky to have the good memories to comfort us. 7y
