This was an easy read, full of advice about life and plenty of personal stories. It was very honest, especially about mental health issues.

I‘m a picky reader so I don‘t try many things I don‘t think I‘ll like. A Matter of Life was just meh. I tried to listen to Gilead. It just droned on & on and nothing happened. I can‘t understand the hype. (Sorry.) Anytime I think about the tagged book, I‘m annoyed, disgusted. If a book could be unwritten, I‘d pick this one.

I‘ve already reviewed this book but it was the first thing I thought of for #youandmebutmostlyme #musicalnewyear prompt. I found this YouTube star to be self-absorbed, particularly for the sensitive topic the book was alleged to be responding to, namely her sister‘s suicide. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up.

Couldn't help myself. Stopped at a Barnes and Noble on the way home from an out of town weekend.

This wasn‘t on my tbr. I chose it from the biography shelves at the library. The subtitle is deceiving. There‘s not a single letter to her sister, who committed suicide. The things she wrote about are not things a dead 13 year old would need to hear. It seems like a PR person told this YouTube star her next step was to write a book and the dead sister would draw readers. The book went on for chapters with no mention of the sister... (cont below)

I‘ve been waiting to share my review of this book, but I just read this: When I was in my late teens, my relationship with food was so unhealthy that when I was broke, I would still go to expensive restaurants by myself and max out my credit cards on $300 meals. Late teens? Maxing? Credit cards? $300 Meals? Seriously? Ugh.

I‘m still at a loss for words. This book is definitely something that will keep me thinking for awhile.

I finished reading my part of ”The Great Alone” that my friend and I are going to talk about on Monday and I didn‘t want to get ahead because I know I would spill something on accident. I decided to get started on this book. I have been really looking forward to reading it

I finally took the time to go and explore the library in my city and oh my gosh I love it! I got the two books I am going to be reading with my friend‘s and some others that I have been really wanting to read including the one tagged!

My 14yo son asked for this book. He powered through it between stockings and supper at Grandma's. For three days now he's been sharing insights and wisdom from the book.

Some people go in busy weekend's away and don't even think about bringing books. I am not one of those people.

I got this in Friday from indigo (a Canadian book store) and oh my god can I just say it's so good!!! I got it straight away after I saw Anna's video adaptation of one of her chapters from this book.

Loving this so far!
