“I stand by my statement,” I told her primly.

“I didn‘t know you could get a degree in ‘babbling loony.‘”

“It‘s one of the lesser-known majors,” I said. “Like French literature or pottery.”

I figured a Molly Harper book would have a #smooth quote I would like. Vampire relationships are never smooth I guess, but more so if you died from an unfortunate ultimate frisbee accident before you were turned like Megan did.🤷🏻‍♀️

Getting my lungs back in shape so I walked for 45 minutes this morning in my neighborhood. Not much to photograph except for flowers & my favorite bird (cattle egret) & it rained.😬☔️I needed something light & fun to listen to so I picked this new Molly Harper on audio that isn't in the Litsy database yet so I tagged another of her books. Just a few chapters in & not quite as enamored with it as I am her Half Moon Hollow books-but we shall see.

As always, Molly Harper delivers the snark! I loved the MC and the chance to visit so closely with so many of the cast of characters from previous Half-Moon Hollow books! I also enjoyed the fact that while there was a romance, it wasn't the end all be all of the story. We get a full and layered tale of mishap, humor, friendship, family, love, and people finding their place in the world. Plus a mad scientist or two! I love Half-Moon Hollow! 📚💕

The books in this series are like potato chips or bonbons for me-I know I should savor it & read just a bit but I end up scarfing the book down in a sitting or two-then I'm sad because it's all gone.😥Like the other books, this one is good snarky southern vampire fun & made me snort-laugh throughout. Maybe not my favorite of the series-I prefer the older characters-but you have to ❤️Megan's humor & the time with scary-fun vampire child, Georgie.👍

This book is between a pick and a so-so for me. Loved the heroine and the hows and whys of how she got turned into a vampire. I even liked the cameos of characters from previous books that I haven't yet read. However, the romance was a bit of a dud for me. The conflict felt forced and Ben was just sort of blah. So pick for everything but the romance.

Some weeks require a Friday night with ice cream, my favorite spoon & a book that's light & fun & makes me snort-laugh.🤣 Molly Harper's Half Moon Hollow series does that & this is the newest installment. Also my 2nd try of Halo Top ice cream-got another coupon for $2-off which puts it in the range I'll spend for a pint of ice cream. This is the red velvet. I think I'm still a bigger fan of salted caramel but this is good.👍#wildfridaynight #TGIF

This month's #TBR is a bit short and slap dash, (choices are hard!😂) but I gotta start somewhere, right?! But my #JulyMostAnticipated is definitely the newest book from Molly Harper! The squee is real! 📚😱😍💕
