Snuck in a little nap time reading today since both kiddos were asleep at her same time! 🙌🏻
To me it felt like it took a long time for anything substantial or noteworthy to happen, and then once it did it all seemed a bit rushed in my opinion. 🤷🏼♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Next up! I really enjoyed The Dry, so I‘m hoping I enjoy this one as well!
Finishing this one up today, and to be honest....I‘m a bit disappointed. I really enjoyed other titles of hers, but this one isn‘t quite for me. And it‘s forever turned me off from visiting a health resort 😂😂
Finished this one up on audio while at work this morning, and I‘ve got to say....I loved it! Definitely not my normal pick, but so so glad I gave it a chance. The friendship between Noa and Astrid amid all the hardships is absolutely beautiful. And the ending had me just about in tears. 4.5/5 ⭐️
Figured my fellow littens would appreciate my new stamp I bought!
Read it, Love it, Return it. ✌🏻✌🏻
Finished this one after a few short days. It is beautifully written and Owens has a way of telling the story so that if you close your eyes you may be right next to Kya in the marsh. A tale of loss, betrayal, love, and misguided judgement. A great pick for the start of our book club!
A few lovely ladies in my life and I have decided to start our own book club! Or at least use it as an excuse to read books and get together 🤷🏼♀️. This is our first pick!
Finished this one up today and really liked it! Wasn‘t sure at first how I would feel about the reverse storyline...but it made the story.
Planning on starting this one today. Little leery about the storyline being told in reverse, but what the heck. I‘ll give it a go 😂🤷🏼♀️
Look what came in the mail today!! Unfortunately my husband got to the package before I did and wasn‘t nearly as excited as I was 🤷🏼♀️. But they were all half off so I had to get them, right? 🤷🏼♀️
A beach read is just what I needed during this frigid Wisconsin winter! Really enjoyed this one ☺️ I was nervous at first about not being able to keep the characters straight, but I found myself invested in each and every one of them.
But how do they expect me to wait until October to read the sequel?!
Wish I was actually reading this beach read on the beach....not in Wisconsin where it is currently -14 without the windchill ❄️😩
Finished this one up today, and not sure how I feel about it. Is “ehh” a feeling? It was somewhere between a pick and a so-so for me. Maybe I‘m just getting burned out with the genre and need to switch things up a bit 🤷🏼♀️
1. This is my front yard!
2. I LOVE where I live. The winters may not be very pleasant, but country living is what this girl needs.
3. Fav February read...The Storyteller by Jodi Piccoult
4. I do most of my reading on my lunch break, during the little one‘s nap time, or right before bed
5. Working later than usual so we will see what I find on the fly 🤷🏼♀️
Finished this one up on my morning commute. Overall a pick, though nothing groundbreaking. I was left satisfied by the ending and how it was drawn to a close 🌟🌟🌟 1/2 🤷🏼♀️
Free Starbucks to enjoy while I listen to my audiobook....why not?! #
If you would have asked me a few years ago how I felt about audiobooks I would have definitely told you I prefer to read print. But life happens. And I‘m a busy mom. So this format has become my go to when it comes to getting my reading fix! Just starting this one at work today!
I‘m having a hard time finding words for this one. To start, I have a soft spot for Jodi Picoult‘s writing. And this one did not disappoint. It‘s a haunting tale, but one that needed to be told. And that ending! 😱
If you‘ve been on the fence about this one, pick it up. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This audiobook and snowy country roads ☺️ two winter storms rolling through this week will be a bit more tolerable with an audiobook keeping me company on my commute to and from work ❄️
