#Lost

A classic Canadian children‘s book and winner of the 1956 Governor General‘s Award (for juvenile fiction). I still remember how riveted my elementary class was when our teacher read it to us. ❤️❤️

Bradleygirl I read this after finding it randomly at a thrift store! Love all Farley Mowat's books. 6y
Cinfhen It looks like an oldie but a goodie 😉 6y
CrowCAH Have you read any books by John Curwood? He wrote wilderness stories, but he was from Owasso, Michigan! 6y

Discovered this new statue on campus. I should probably read more of his work!

Fun Photo Friday Canada Day Edition Pt.2 No Canadian author celebration would be complete without the great Farley Mowat! We read this in the 5th grade and I was riveted. Big takeaway: never go out in the snow without sunglasses or you might get SNOWBLIND!! (ps no snark about my Habs) @Liberty
