Seventeen fairy tales are wonderfully adapted and illustrated in comics format by seventeen different cartoonists, including Raina Telgemeier, Brett Helquist, Cherise Harper, and more. Edited by Nursery Rhyme Comics' Chris Duffy, this jacketed hardcover is a beautiful gift and an instant classic.

#WitchyReads Day 2: There are 17 stories in this collection edited by Duffy as he gathered a few luminaries in the comic book industry to come up with their own retold versions of classic tales such as Jillian Tamaki who wrote about #BabaYaga, Raina Telgemeier with her own postmodern twist to Rapunzel among others. This collection of fairy tales in comics form is a ton of fun. I haven't actually read much from any of the writers or artists before (despite best intentions) but I definitely would like to now. Anyone interested in the idea of this book should find themselves enjoying it.

Was at a different library branch than usual and grabbed a few more books than I meant to. Excited for this haul though. #bookhaul #library

A collection of fairy and folk tales from various artists. I liked some a lot and others less. I think this would be great for younger readers.

4⭐️ This was a nice selection of fairy tales told in comic form. Each illustrator brought something unique to their tale. I really like how not all the stories are popular stories that everyone knows.
