This book is a bit cheesy, but I like the humour. It's perfect for young audiences. The pop culture references and jibes are also entertaining. I like the magical creatures, but the plot feels just a tiny bit slow. I'm so curious about the male MC's family and how that will continue to affect him.

Starting this middle-grade fantasy novel. It's about a top secret menagerie hidden away in Xanadu, Wyoming that is filled with magical creatures such as unicorns, dragons, and phoenixes! Zoe Kahn's family is responsible for taking care of & keeping watch over the menagerie. But then six griffin cubs go missing, and chaos ensues. It's also written by a pair of Venezuelan-American authors. 😃😃
