pickAfter watching a few episodes of the TV series (both Swedish and British) finally got to read my first Wallander book. Started with this one which is supposed to be book 0 (stories happening before the first book in the series) or 9th published book. I loved all the stories. As the cover blurb from Times Literary Supplement says “they are surprising, small masterpieces“. Soon I'll start the actual first book in the series, Faceless Killers.
There was silence all around. He stepped over the police tape and looked around. If someone wanted to kill a person, this was an excellent location.
