This may be my favorite Koontz novel. It is a story of mystery, magic, Kobe and redemption. You will love young Jonah and those close to him.

Slightly long-winded, but with writing so beautiful and lyrical that it doesn‘t matter to, seemingly, be going no where. But, once Mr. Koontz started to weave all those individual story threads together I was absolutely riveted to my seat!

If you like a leisurely stroll through the minds of the characters living the story I recommend #TheCity to you.

Getting ready to start this. I hope it meets my expectations since I loved the prequel.

This wasn't the Dean Koontz I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it. I appreciate the emphasis on family, unexpected friendships, and overcoming adversity.

Jack-Cade I'm presently reading this. My first work by Dean Koontz so I had no preconceived notions coming in. 6y

This book was definitely different than what I expected. It had a unique idea and I really enjoyed the characters. I felt like the theme of the city could have been expanded on and developed a bit more through the book. Also, there were some parts that moved slow that I feel weren't completely necessary to the plot. Overall, I enjoyed this one and would recommend it!
