Here's a few books about signs, symbols, omens, and superstitions from the occult section of my writing reference bookshelves. I found it amusing that when I was adding books to my Goodreads shelves, the tagged book ended up being the 666th book I entered. If I were #superstitious, I'd probably be a bit freaked out. 🙀#SpookyOctober

DuckOfDoom Oh, can you tag the specific books? I love good scientific books about the occult 😄 7y

TK-421 @quirkyreader Yes, now that you mention it, I think I did. Thanks! I'd forgotten where they came from. 7y
TK-421 @rubyslippersreads Thanks! 😊 7y
TK-421 @DuckOfDoom this one (Dictionary) and A to Z of the Occult have lots of interesting historical information about occult subjects. Unfortunately, I can't find the A to Z book in the Litsy or Goodreads databases. It's by Graham Weaver, published in the UK in 1975. (edited) 7y
RealBooks4ever Love your pic! 😻 7y
TK-421 @DuckofDoom This one is more of a New Age take on things, but it's got lots of illustrations and it's organized into different sections (for example, Alchemy, Astrology, Christian, Norse, Witchcraft, etc.) (edited) 7y
TK-421 @DuckofDoom Another New Age book, with lots of information and illustrations 7y
TK-421 @RealBooks4ever Thanks! 😊 7y
