julesG Pretty! Looking forward the finished blanket picture. 7y
Lauredhel @HippieChickHomeschool this pattern is available for free online; it started as a crochet-along. 7y
Lauredhel @Johanna414 therein lies a tale: I started this project just idly making Sophie's Mandala, the centre circle, with leftover parts of Caron cakes. I had a fair bit and liked the make, so I went on to make Sophie's Garden, the inner square. Couldn't stop, bought more yarn... And on it goes. If I were to do it again, I would choose a good quality 100% acrylic, for ease of laundering. 7y
Johanna414 @Lauredhel well whatever you used, it's beautiful! I love the colors. I usually stick with acrylic for blankets for that very reason, especially when it's for a child. 7y
Lauredhel @Johanna414 this is eighty percent acrylic, so I'm sure it will wash fine on the wool cycle in our front loader. I've already bought the acrylic yarn to try Mandala Madness... 7y
Johanna414 @Lauredhel I can't wait to see how that one works up! 7y
