An easy and enjoyable read, and a bit different from the movie

Not my usual genre. It‘s confirmed that action books with good guys and bad guys is definitely not my thing.

The story was interesting and well written enough to keep me reading to the end. The pacing was good, however the short sentences became a bit much after a while. As for Reacher himself? Apologies to any fans out there, but he‘s my idea of the worst kind of character! Annoyingly perfect and unbelievable 🤢 bad guys are much more fun!

Jack Reacher would obviously be “in his element” at camp since he walks all over the country with nothing but the clothes on his back and a toothbrush. But wherever he goes, he seems to find drug dealers or sex traffickers, so I imagine he‘ll be on the lookout for nefarious types in the camp so he can beat them up and serve justice😂😂 #litsysummercamp @ImperfectCJ

The first Jack Reacher Book I‘ve read in two years and reminded me how well written they are. Good plotting, action, and moving forward quickly.

This is the third book finished for #JoysofJune Readathon

Covers Indiana for #SeparatedByaPondTour

Now read 803 pages and finished 3 books.

During #JoysofJune Readathon I‘ve started listening to One Shot, my first Jack Reacher book in a couple of years.

So far up to 376 pages read and one book finished.

This should take in Indiana for #separatedbyapondtour

TheAromaofBooks I've heard great things about this series!!! 5y

One Shot is one of the better Jack Reacher installments, IMHO. One of the things I liked the best was the teamwork. I know that it's counter to his usual lone wolf story lines, but it's good to shake things up occasionally!

Reacher is called in for a mass shooting which appears to have been done by a veteran. However, the evidence is just a little too overwhelming and there‘s something obviously wrong in town. The story moves quickly with lots of action.

A complex who done it that only Jack Reacher can solve. A soldier from Reacher‘s Army past is arrested for killing 5 random people in a sniper shooting. Reacher assumes he‘s guilty and shows up to help put him away.

Reacher comes to town with only his clothes on his back and a toothbrush, stumbles onto something going on in town that‘s dangerous, beats some folks up, and leaves town.
