pickThis book was way better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't previously care for this author. I read her other two books and thought they were just okay. I only picked this up since I needed a dark academia book for the popsugar challenge and I'd already read all the ones on my TBR.
I really really enjoyed this book but I have to warn you - it's the first in a series!! Her others are standalone so I had no idea!
Definitely recommend!
I'm going to be sad finishing this trilogy - it's soooo good! And this line cracked me up.
Time for a murder mystery to take my mind off of the current chaos - hope it's good!

pickAnother book that took me about halfway through to get into it. Not as good as Six of Crows, but ended up as a pick and will read the next in the series.
pickThis ended up being a good story but it did take me halfway through the book before I started to get into it. I loved the MC but the world building was confusing and unnecessarily so, but by the end I was invested in Gideon. Twisty ending that I didn't see coming. Will definitely read the next one.
I hit 100 books with three months still left in the year! 🤗
OMG I‘m so excited!!!! This is one of my all time favorite series!! So excited for another after all this time though it‘s not out til June next year. Might be time for a reread.❤️❤️❤️❤️
pickBryn Greenwood is a definite go to author for me now. This book hooked me from the start. I fell in love with Gentry. And even though the MC made bad decisions that annoyed me I was still rooting for it to all work out. This isn't quite as good as her other book All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, but still a definite pick.
Enjoying this read. I'm only a quarter of the way through so I'm not sure if it compares to All the Ugly and Wonderful Things yet, but Bryn Greenwood is fast becoming a go to author.
Finished my two books and walked 6 of the 7 days this week. So for the six weeks I only missed two days of walking and I read all my books. Feeling accomplished 😊

pickJust as good as Dark Matter. I couldn't put this book down. Of course a bunch of it went over my head like Dark Matter but I managed to get enough sense of it to love it.

pickThis isn't normally something I would pick up but my book club suggested it, and I'm glad they did. Beautiful writing that made me feel like I knew the marsh that Kya grew up in. I loved the main character and ached for her. The book also speaks to society and how we treat each other. There's also a touch of murder mystery. A lovely book that I would definitely recommend.

pickThis was a quick enjoyable read. There were parts that I thought "this is a bit unrealistic", but the twist at the end made it work and all come together. Definitely didn't see the twist coming.
I can‘t believe I have to wait another year for the next book!!! Sooooo good 🤗
Up next! Loved the Illuminae series he co-wrote and the Nevernight series so hoping this is just as good 🤗
