#friyayintro @howjessreads

Me in my reading armchair right now. As you can see I'm wearing a large shawl around my neck, otherwise my constantly freezing self would get tight shoulder and neck muscles, culminating in a headache.
I'm always cold between October and May. That's why I love to wrap my ice cold hands around large mugs of hot tea.
Also, I love pie, cake, pastries - just had a special cinnamon bun with my afternoon tea.

howjessicareads What a cute scarf! I think we‘re opposites though... I never wear scarves bc I‘m always hot. 😝 6y
julesG @howjessreads Thank you! I keep joking about looking forward to heat flashes in menopause. 6y
laurieluna I never leave the house without a scarf, even in summer! 6y

Elizabeth2 I am always cold between Oct and May, too. I have a “house sweater” I put on that is the oldest, ugliest cardigan...As ridiculous as it sounds, ONE degree makes a difference to me - we keep our house at 68 degrees F during the day, if I bump it to 69, I‘m fine! Love your scarf! I may have to add that layer to my ugly house sweater! 🤣 6y
Caterina I also get cold easily, then tight muscles, then a headache! The struggle is real! Love the scarf! My new technique is draping it over my head and then around my neck, to keep even more heat in 😂 6y
julesG @miralunasbooknook In summer I have silk scarves. I can wet them and cool my neck. 6y
julesG @Elizabeth2 I might try this one degree trick. Thanks! 6y
julesG @Caterina That's what my endless amount of hoodie and hooded cardigans is for. 😉 Scarf/shawl around the neck, hood up. 6y
laurieluna That is such a good idea! Especially with the boiling hot summer we had this year. 6y
