What a fun book! You can learn about the longest first sentence ever, the most stolen books, or that Bond is drinking way over the recommended intake of alcohol. Plus much more! The graphics are great, though some take a minute to figure out; and some wouldn‘t be friendly for those that are color blind.
Only one page about publishing that felt bitter but I‘ve never published so I wouldn‘t know if it‘s true.
It definitely added to my tbr!

SandyW Looks fun! 7y
Leniverse I have (figuratively) drooled over that one in the bookstore. I just can't justify getting more coffee table type books. Especially since I don't even have a coffee table, just a small sideboard. 😂 7y
Ash.on.the.line @Leniverse 😂I get that! I got it for $3 so I couldn‘t pass it up! Not sure if I‘ll keep it yet though since I also don‘t own a coffee table! 🤔😆 7y
Ash.on.the.line @SandyW very fun! 😁 7y
Leniverse I think possibly the solution would be to get a coffee table. One with a shelf underneath for storing the many coffee table books. 😂 7y

A little surprise bookmail. Surprise because I ordered this at the beginning of December and I thought it was lost/stolen and wouldn‘t be getting it! I actually forgot about it. Finally it arrived and I can‘t wait to dive in!

This book is amazing! I have to inform the spouse that I want this for Xmas. ?
Pics show infographics of Austen vs. Bronte: word count of "bonnet", "dress" etc in their books; banned books by reason and year; influences on Shakespeare; a character map of War & Peace. ?

rockpools That sounds amazing! 7y
