This was a satisfying middle book, one in which the world expands, conflict & tension grow, & we learn more about secondary characters who, it turns out, have bigger roles to play in what is happening. Thomas‘s writing is sharp, the banter witty, and I‘m looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the third and final book of the series.

The face of someone who was really enjoying her audiobook on her commute, and who came home to cranky kids, so she‘s listening in the garage for a few more minutes until they find her. 😂🤣

Rereading. I love these audiobooks and I‘m enjoying this story very much.

I‘ve been having fun using some gift cards that I got for Christmas. This trilogy has been on my TBR list for a while now, so I figured it was time to add it to my TBR shelf. 😉📚

This series is delightful. I've read the first 2 this weekend & am purchasing the 3rd now. Fun characters, interesting world, and exactly the quick, satisfying read I've been needing. This second book has an alternating storyline I wasn't sure I'd like starting out, but it complemented the story & character development perfectly.

60% in and I'm convinced of this book's (possibly the entire series') perfection. I love these characters. I love their complexity. I love the epic surprises this book keeps bringing. I'm so impressed. New fav.
