Rest and be thankful

So I injured my foot somehow, and cannot put any weight on my heel without incurring serious pain. 🤕 so between that and allergies🤧 I‘m totally housebound. Luckily I have books to read and listen to. 📚🎧

Not book related, but I thought I‘d share what kept me from reading and Litsy-ing last night.
My Gramma (who passed away in 2001) always made Asparagus casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas-it‘s a family favorite. But she was from the convenience generation, so everything was canned and prepackaged. A couple of years ago, I doctored it up with homemade cream of mushroom soup and fresh asparagus.

What are some of your family traditions?
