Really loved this middle grade anthology of ghost and monster stories from around the world. I think my favorite had to be The Gruesome Test, from Japan. This quick read was a nice break for my brain after my last slog.
Now back to literature from the 1800s! 😅

My current total for the week. I‘m still reading for some readathons tonight so I‘ll count those points for next week. Not a strong week, but this upcoming week I‘m off from both jobs, so I should have plenty more time to earn some major points for our team.

Very entertaining! Simple scary stories from around the world. I love that, under the title of each story, it states what country/region the story is from. While the reading level is at about middle grade, some of the content may not be. Some of these stories are pretty gruesome. Loved the artwork too. Great addition to the stories.
