Beautiful. Perfect. Dead. In the peaceful seaside town of Cape Bonita, wicked secrets and lies are hidden just beneath the surface. But all it takes is one tragedy for them to be exposed. The most popular girls in school are turning up dead, and Penelope Malone is terrified she's next. All the victims so far have been linked to Penelopeand to a boy from her physics class. The one she's never really noticed before, with the rumored dark past and a brooding stare that cuts right through her. There's something he isn't telling her. But there's something she's not telling him, either. Everyone has secrets, and theirs might get them killed.

Mehso-so

This book was just okay for me. I felt the characters were a little stereotypical and flat, there was no character growth with the main character. I was also expecting much more from the story, but I was able to guess the direction it was headed very early on. This is a good book to read however if you‘re just getting into YA mystery/thrillers as it‘s an easy and quick read.

Pickpick

I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! I actually stayed up WAY too late last night finishing Pretty Dead Girls. Seriously. Plan on reading this book cover to cover in one sitting. Monica Murphy has a special talent when it comes to creating characters and a world that will pull you in. Everything from the cute little beach town to the bitchy teenage girls and the mysterious and sexy Cass was expertly crafted and realistic.

MelAnn I‘m haven‘t been a huge fan of fiction - but this has me intrigued! I‘m gonna check it out! I need to escape from the realism of non-fiction from time to time! 6y

The most popular girls in school are going down, and Penelope is terrified she‘s next. All the victims so far have been linked to Penelope—and to the mysterious loner boy from her physics class. The one with the lopsided smirk and intense stare that‘s almost…cute? Even though she‘s not sure she can trust him, she agrees to work with him to figure out whats happening. All while trying to stay one step ahead of the brutal serial killer on the loose.
