This tight end is at the top of his game. He's good with his hands, even better with his sexy mouth, and the best at making me forget my own name. His--ahem--stats are perfect. But I can't fall for him. He might be everything I want, all rolled into a glorious package of gridiron god, but there's one teeny-tiny problem. The vile, loathsome team I've spent my entire life hating--my beloved school's arch-rival? This guy is their star player.

Pickpick

The best college romance I‘ve read in some time. While to some the college rivalry that is the main conflict may seem over done, as someone who lives in Ohio I found it pretty believable. I also just loved the other, more common conflicts that arose and that the H and h worked through. And I loved that Jay was the sweet to Kayla‘s sharp edges. #romantsy

swishandflick Sounds good, I love a football romance! Also chuckling that the blurb starts with "this tight end" - paired with that cover - I couldn't help but think to myself "damn straight!" ? (edited) 7y
MarriedtoMrT @swishandflick IKR! 🤩 7y
EloisaJames Downloaded and 3 chapters in, I have to stop reading and start the day—thanks! This is really fun (tho the rivalry does seem crazy to a New Yorker, but I‘m trying to go with it). 7y

MarriedtoMrT @EloisaJames Ohioans are crazy about their OSU football. My husband always jokes that there are actually three pro-football teams in the state: Cleveland, Cincinnati, and OSU. My aunt only lived in Columbus for maybe five years and now lives back in PA but half her Facebook feed is OSU. As a non-sports person, I think it‘s nuts. Hope you can roll with those parts! 7y
EloisaJames I enjoyed it but I really did have to suspend belief when it came to the parents. And then I‘m busy trying to pretend the hero won‘t end up with dementia, so it was a bit of a strain. Sexy bk, though! 7y
MarriedtoMrT @EloisaJames CTE is a big downer for a lot of reasons and ruining football romance books is definitely one. Too bad he didn‘t decide to put his computer science degree to use instead. 7y

1. Until this year, no. Now I typically have an audio, an ebook romance, and possibly a print title all going at once.
2. Yes. (I work there.)
3. Most of the time.
4. Yes, sometimes. 🙈 Only my own books.
5. Not if I can help it.
