The Secret of Flirting
The Secret of Flirting | Sabrina Jeffries
3 posts | 5 read | 2 to read
Quick pacing, witty dialogue, and charmingly original characters set Jeffries books apart (Publishers Weekly, starred review), and The Secret of Flirting is the next thrilling romance in the bestselling Sinful Suitors series! The moment spymaster Baron Fulkham meets the stunning Princess Aurore of Chanay, he's positive her royal persona is a ruse and that she's actually Monique Servais, the mysterious actress he met three years before in Dieppe. But as he pursues his suspicions, he uncovers a plot of attempted assassination and betrayal that could very well destroy his career, expose his own secrets...and ruin the woman he's rapidly coming to love. The Secret of Flirting is a sizzling historical romance filled with fast-paced storytelling, an enchanting heroine, and a sexy hero, perfect for fans of Regency romance.

This has to be my favourite of the Sinful Suitors series so far. So much intrigue and the characters had to overcome some pretty steep obstacles. They both were strong and stuck to their morals but were willing to change when they needed to. This series just keeps getting better and better. I‘m curious to see what happens next.

While I had a little trouble getting into this book, overall it‘s a quick read even though it‘s over 400 pages. There‘s a lot more action and suspense then I thought there‘d be, which I enjoyed. And of course a romance at the heart of it all.

JoRead Wow! I don't think I've read a #romantsy quite that long! 7y
Kristy_K @JoRead It surprised me when I saw that too. I read it on my kindle, so maybe the got the total page number wrong. 7y
kezzlou85 I'm still a little new to Netgalley so just wanted to ask you a question if that's okay. How do you know when yo review a book. Can you just review when you've read or is it best to wait until nearer release date. I know if you review on Amazon it needs to be on release date? 7y

Kristy_K @kezzlou85 I normally try to review them closer to release date, however if I‘m in the mood for a certain type of book I may read it earlier. There really isn‘t a rule for when you review them, but on the purchasing sites (i.e. Amazon) you do have to wait until they are published. 7y
kezzlou85 @Kristy_K ah that makes sense thank you so much 💖 7y
JoRead @kezzlou85 If you are on Goodreads you can always post a review there (authors/publishers prefer early reviews on ARCs) then you can post on Amazon, B&N, etc., on release day 😉 7y
JoRead @Kristy_K It sounds like a good read though, I'm going to have to check it out 😊 7y
kezzlou85 @JoRead that's a good idea. Thank you so much for the advice 😊 7y
