Impossible Saints
Impossible Saints | Clarissa Harwood
5 posts | 5 read | 14 to read
As Lilia finds her calling in the militant Women's Social and Political Union, Paul is increasingly driven to rise in the church. They can't deny their attraction, but they know they don't belong in each other's worlds. Lilia would rather destroy property and serve time in prison than see her spirit destroyed and imprisoned by marriage to a clergyman, while Paul wants nothing more than to settle down and keep Lilia out of harm's way. Paul and Lilia must reach their breaking points before they can decide whether their love is worth fighting for.

I‘m getting a slow start to #24b4Monday. Only tracked 1:09 in tagged book but also read a little of Introvert Doodles and Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life yesterday. Hoping to finish both of those this weekend. Have some catch up to do on #OtherSuns. Already behind on my reading plan. 🤣
Diving back into the #Readathon now.

Andrew65 You can do it. Still plenty of time. Good luck. 😊👍 6y

Lilia and Paul know they are living in completely different worlds but are attracted to each other nonetheless. Lilia is a fiesty suffragette and doesn‘t believe in God and Paul is a rising clergyman who has ambitions to be the youngest dean of St. John‘s Cathedral. Going in two opposite directions, they must figure out if this love is something to fight for.💙
