MelAnn Scary March? I have to ask! Why is March so scary? Genealogy is something I used to do & then got away from it and came back to it when I found my birth family and wanted to research historical bloodlines! 6y

dsfisher @MelAnn The worst storms I have lived through have always been in March, so March tends to make me a little anxious if there are storms within a thousand miles 😳. My Mom always thought she was descended from a couple of German lines and the rumor of a Native American so it was exciting to confirm the native line through Canada. But it was really a surprise to find she has roots back to the early Colonial era. Fun and interesting history. 6y

MelAnn That would be June for me. The F4 tornado that hit Pampa, TX - I was there. So, I get that! I hate the Texas Panhandle storm season! 6y

So excited to receive this today. George is my 10th great grandfather and I will be taking notes and enjoying reading about his and other ancestors lives. Things were not easy for our colonial ancestors and there were many hardships.
