I took the old #aglophileapril playlist and made some upgrades 💁🏻♀️ so pull out your tea and porkpies and God save the Queen 👑
Book 3 of 4. Once again, White has captured Meg and her fears during a kidnapping and captivity. Even in bleak moments, Meg is funny and bookish. Moreover, the first two books build to this point. Can't wait to see how this resolves in the last book.
Some #multiplecopies for today's #seasonsreadings2016. I also have this on e-book (if they had audiobook available, I'd own that, too). With Ellen Emerson White books, if I see one of her books at a used book store or a library book sale, I buy it. If they come out with a brand new edition, I buy it. I've been reading her books since the early 1990s, so I own A LOT of different editions of some of her books! 😂😂
5 out of 5 stars (spoiler alert: I give all 4 books in this series 5 stars-I love it that much). The 3rd book in a series about a girl whose mother is the US president. The main character is kidnapped & detained by terrorist who have no intention of releasing her. Can she survive? Can she escape? Can she make it back home to the White House? A very intense & suspenseful read, feels brutally honest & realistic.
