Today, I‘m sharing my reading progress for a book I‘m currently listening to. I started listening to this book after I finished listening to The Cruelty. This is the sequel to The Cruelty. It‘s good so far.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Still driven by the accounts, Gwen set out to gain control of a large fortune. But the further she goes, the more she is betrayed by the people she protected.

It was a lot slower to get into compared to the first book in the series. I sort of fell out of love with her father almost being in reach, then slipping right through her fingers. It really felt like the plot was in loop, and wasn‘t making much traction.

The sequel to the Cruelty is the Greed. The cover keeps the theme but notches up the color. It's a more blue background than black like book 1. There are just too many book I want coming out next week.
