Sweetest story.
I've been so busy with other things (and other books) this weekend that I forgot to catch up on rereading the novels my students are reading for class. Luckily I found the audio for Ruby Holler through the library and could catch up on my evening #audiowalk while also finally trying out the Libby app.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's actually very relaxing as it is entertaining despite the many complications and conflicts that are later implemented in this book. It's really heartwarming as well to see the bond of two twins and an elderly couple strengthen as time moves on under their foster care. It kind of reminds me of a classical and original version of Despicable Me except that the roles are switched between the characters.
