I can now see my go to escape in books is Crime. Followed by Aussie humour. I've read 15 books this month , a record for me. Might need to get back to my life soon. 😊. But maybe not just yet. On now to another Agatha .

This was a lot of fun! A group of rejected detectives in France put together to solve cold cases. I loved the lead- a strong smart woman (if a bit trigger happy) who is the leader of this group of misfits.

Recommandé par un ami fan de Polars et de romans légers, c'est un bouquin très sympa, une brigade de bras cassés hauts en couleur pour qui on se prend un peu d'affection. Il va falloir mettre la main sur le deuxième tome.

I really enjoyed this squad of misfits and cast-offs and seeing how they came together. I hope there more of their adventures in the future.

Kind of like Jussi Adler-Olsen‘s Dept Q but this squad is full of misfit French police officers.

I really liked the setting and the plot line was cool too. I liked the different characters and how their own stories didn‘t feel set up, they kind of came naturally.

I started reading this, thinking it was just another crime-story set in France. I‘m only 50 pages in, but I really like the concept so far! Excited to read on. #justkeepreading #midbookthoughts
