This is one of those books you can sink in to and escape. Very easy to read and the characters just came alive on the pages. The plots kept my interest throughout. This is another opportunity to read about Jessie Flynn as she helps the police solve the murders of the two little girls

This is book 3 in the series but i dont think you need to read the others to understand the story. It was such a good read and had me hooked really early on. They're are some very clever twists to the story that keep the plot developing. The ending was good if a little sad. The whole plot was well paced and interesting. I just had to keep reading.

Mehso-so

This is not my favourite genre - find so much of it predictable and unoriginal. This example was decidedly average. Entertaining and not without a degree of tension and suspense but I figured out murderer and twist almost immediately. Also did not like ending - what happened to MC seemed depressingly brutal and gratuitous and there was no sense of hope to release the tension. Just more misery - which I found off-putting.

Bizarrely enough, the tagged book mentions Stick Man!!!

About 18 months ago my daughter went through a period of wanting Stick Man every single night. I am word perfect. It is a great book to read aloud.
