I do not read a lot of romance, indeed nobody has ever called me romantic - not even handsome hubby! However, I picked up 'Foxtrot in Freshby' by Awen Thornber to take on holiday because it was recommended to me. She was a new author to me - and it is a fine book! A good story, believable characters that you can invest in, and a twist that I honestly didn't see coming. I highly recommend 'Foxtrot in Freshby' - what a great read!

The author obviously enjoys a jive or two (not forgetting a foxtrot) as her enthusiasm is clear on every page. But don't expect it to be all sparkles and ballroom dresses, the novel has just the right number of questions to keep the reader on tenterhooks about whether Gina's ex-husband will cause havoc and just what is the secret that Chris is keeping

I have this book on my kindle and can't wait to read it. I read Awen's first book and it's a great addition to my bookshelf.
