I thoroughly enjoyed this short series based around the Death in Paradise show. DI Poole was by far my favorite detective of the show, and these books are terrific. I'm thinking about getting Britbox just so I can rewatch the show now.

This one gave me my second #bookspin bingo. I'm hoping for at least one more bingo before the month is out. 🤞

Another fun #cozymystery in the #DeathinParadise series. Narrator #PhilFox is as fabulous as usual.

The third bookish instalment of the series based on the BBC‘s Death In Paradise sees repressed, uptight DI Richard Poole and his laconic Caribbean team investigating the murder of what at first appears to be an unknown tramp, but as always, secrets begin to emerge. I love how these books capture the essence of the original cast of the series so well. DI Poole‘s fish-out-of-water stiff-upper-lip Englishman is one of my favourite characters ever!

Enjoyable trip into the Death in Paradise series. It‘s fun to spend more time with Richard and the original team again.
