Mehso-so

I bought this series for my teenage daughter a couple years ago, but she hasn't read them yet. So I will instead! This is the first book in the series, it counts down to 1. This is definitely written for a younger audience, probably middle school aged. I finished it in just about 2 hours. The story was pretty good, but I didn't like the ending. Phelan left a major cliffhanger that I suspect will continue through the end of the series.

Finally we were able to read outside again after three days of rain where we got 10 3/10 inches. It took all day but our backyard no longer looks like a small pond:

The Last Thirteen series is a gift for my daughter and I to read together. You start with book 13 and work your way down to 1. There were other books opened last night as well and I know there will be more tonight! #BookishPresent #DeckTheSelves #BookishGifts #ReindeerReads
