#BBRC #ER (Reader‘s Choice) We‘re a Star Wars house, and my 4 year old loves us to read him Star Wars books. Little Golden Books are fine, but these are shorter and can be used to teach him reading later on. I love the pictures and the glossy paper; most easy readers have matte paper. Title is pretty explanatory: BB-8 is saved by Rey and they become friends. Geared toward pre-k to K crowd. @LibrarianRyan

OnlyYoo What a cute lamp! 5y
Lady_Tigana_20 @OnlyYoo, thanks. We bought it a few years ago on ThinkGeek. 5y
LibrarianRyan Really? Most Ears I know are glossy. Maybe a library edition vs bookstore edition? 5y
Lady_Tigana_20 @LibrarianRyan, maybe? Or maybe I‘m using wrong word? Beginning reader? I‘m talking about the ones with levels or steps in upper right corner. The majority of ones I see at Barnes and Noble seem matte. All the ones we own (e.g. Splat the Cat, Biscuit, Pete the Cat, Paw Patrol, etc.) are matte. I haven‘t leafed through every single one at B&N, though. As for longer books we own like Berenstain or Ferdinand, it‘s 50/50 matte to glossy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 5y
LibrarianRyan @Lady_Tigana_20 yep we were talking about the same thing. It must be a difference between library and market copy. 5y
