After I read her recent book I thought I‘d see what this one was like. I really enjoyed her writing. Her development of characters, descriptions and easy flow of language made it an easy read for me. Only 2 books published so far . She is another budding Aussie writer. I will be on the look out for any further books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Intriguing plot.

So book club this month was this little gem, it was evocatively written and very easy to read even if the theme was a little disturbing. I loved how the author never went into details about certain things and it enabled your imagination to go into overdrive, providing a very intense, chilling read. #australianauthors #emilyogrady #allenandunwin #vogelprizewinner

Oh this is a harrowing tale. Beautifully written and easy to read, but packed full of tension and tragedy. I almost felt Cub's nausea and fear, and I loved the references to familiar Australian childhood things (especially the sweets) #aussie #vogelsprize
