So this somehow turned out to be my first Roshani Chokshi read, despite having Star-Touched Queen on my shelves since it debuted. I was afraid I might be loss when it came to these stories, but I wasn't. They were thoroughly lovely, and the Night Market may be my new favorite literary place. :) Book 8 of 2021

Finished the tagged book (so good, despite not having read any of Chokshi's other books). I also made some progress on an eArc, and started Vampire Academy, which I'm finishing up this morning. #AnyWayYouReadathon @kimmypete1 @Eggbeater

This was a lovely short fairytale romance with great narrators (not the tagged book)

Star-Touched Stories consists of 3 short stories that take place in the world of A Crown of Wishes and a Star-Touched Queen. I was excited to read more about Vikram and Gauri. Chokshi‘s writing is beautifully lyrical. I love being immersed in this magical world. ✨ 👑 ✨

I love Chokshi‘s writing and this provides a great afternoon‘s listening, even if the print version may have let me linger over her sentences more.

Pretty sure I have a new favorite #Fantasy author. I LOVED reading The Star-Touched Queen (thank you #FreakyFriday) and this little collection of short stories is just as beautifully written. I was thrilled that this wasn't like the average novella, which I hate, and more like three origin stories wrapped in one! Well worth the read if you're a Chokshi fan 👏
