Turns out the giant gnome that was an impulse buy six years ago from the garden section after it went on clearance is the perfect Christmas accent! It‘s also what happens when you let your adoration of the movie “Amelie” spiral out of control.
These two have been with me through a lot! The Roaming Gnome has been through 5 moves over 7 years. And my remaining link to my childhood. Rainbow brite‘s buddy Twink. My grandmother had given him back to me 10 years ago. She had saved him from a lawn sale my mother had, years ago. I have no idea what happened to my rainbow brite. When my mom would go on a cleaning kick nothing was safe.
