pickFamily dysfunction, mental health, and trauma were all explored in this impactful piece of #ozfiction. I felt the big issues were realistically portrayed and I liked the hint of humour in how it was done. Having said that, however, I‘m still sort of left with a feeling of wanting more. The book was quite short, and maybe that‘s why, but I just didn‘t seem to connect to the characters as deeply as I wanted to.

CarolynM Yes, I liked it, but I never felt fully engaged with the characters. It was good, but it could have been better. 5y
JennyM @CarolynM completely agree. It could have gone much deeper - I wanted to know more about each of them. Thanks for the recommendation. I‘ll keep an eye out for any more by the author. 5y
