The School for Good and Evil #5: A Crystal of Time | 
so-soAs often happens with long fantasy series, the story is starting to sprawl, meaning that this book doesn't end up resolving any of the storylines. Even the trope of exploding dichotomies is starting to wear thin - this book tries to complicate Past and Present and doesn't really succeed. I'll still probably continue to read the series to see it out to the end.

pickThe book was so good! I loved how we revisited characters and so many things were revealed. 😉
pickIt was a very good book. It kept me wondering till the very end "Who was Good, and who was Evil?" "What pen will win, the Storian or Lionsmane?" This book will keep you on the edge of your seat till the last page is turned!

pickYet another series that my daughter and I are reading together. Page 382 has a slap in the face wow moment. The whole book reads like the writer was watching the news. My daughter read it in 2.5 days (with school) and I finished in it under 24 hours (while still sleeping). Now we have to wait on book 6.
