Leora is reeling: questioning everything she has ever known about her family and herself. As half-Marked and half-Blank, will she ever wholly belong in either community? She sets off to find Featherstone, home of her mysterious Blank birth mother, but will she find solace and safety or a viper's nest of suspicion?

At least I have a book (well, books actually) with me to keep me entertained while getting my car repaired at the dealership.

this is the sequel to Inked. Without putting the covers side by side they look almost exactly alike except for color.

BooknerdsLife Interesting. This book was published last year and we have the 3rd book Scar available here already ...I‘ve read mixed review of the first book , so will wait and see 😄 I do like the cover too, it‘s so gorgeous in real life 😍 5y
LibrarianRyan @BooknerdsLife This was something we debated when we got a copy from scholastic for RFS. It was published, technically in the UK and Canada, with UK versions, that could also be found in the US. But apparently this is the US version. It was the oddest thing. We kept putting it in and taking it out of our up coming book lists. Which is why I included it here. 5y
BooknerdsLife I Wonder what‘s the reason... I understand there‘s usually a different in publication date between UK or Australian edition and US edition, but one year difference is very rare 🤔 5y
LibrarianRyan @BooknerdsLife I dont get it either. Its so very odd 5y
