I was motivated to join #cloakanddaggerchristmas after seeing @merelybookish post. Initially I was aiming for only 4 prompts, but when I saw that 1 prompt is the easily completed one of watching a mystery show I added that. Then I was tempted by the fact that completion of six prompts earns me Police Inspector Level, Here are the 6 prompts including multiple choices for the same prompt so I can pick & choose:👇

🌍Detective Galileo: (PD James' Mistletoe Murders; Jane Harper's Survivors; Mukherjee's Rising Man)

vivastory I might use some of the unused books from a certain prompt for a different prompt if the mood strikes me (ie Mukherjee's Rising Man could also be used for the Flavia prompt & Thursday Murder Club could be used for Agatha Raisin. vivastory @RaeLovesToRead You definitely should! You can use the same book for multiple prompts & it runs for the entire month of Dec. There is a level for meeting 3 prompts 3y

merelybookish 👏👏 Yay! Finding options for the different prompts is not hard! I also have a few that could work in a few different categories. I'm excited! I picked up a few holds at the library today. 3y

This little book is a godsend to any crime fiction fan looking for new authors and series to try. Recommendations are organised by sub-genre, type of criminal or detective. My only real criticism is that cosy mysteries are missing.
