I‘ve enjoyed the Survivors series as a whole, but want to highlight this one for the deft and sensitive way Galen writes Olivia, a rape survivor, as she falls in love. I‘ve learned that #romantsy books can be so much more than fluff and this is a story that proves that. I actually bought this one because I‘m going to want to read it again. Sweet, sexy and so supportive, Jasper is a terrific hero, but Olivia shines as the heart of the tale. 5👍🏼

This is the latest (out 4/16) in the Survivors series centering around a group of soldiers (who were basically tasked with suicide missions) while fighting Napoleon. This story is about their leader, Colonel Draven and his adventures in saving a damsel/stranger in distress by marrying her. While a good story (the hero was my pick here), it wasn‘t my favorite in the series so far. 4/5⭐️ #romantsy

I‘m enjoying this historical romance series revolving around a group of select soldiers who were chosen for their skill sets to defeat Napoleon.

Fourth in Survivors series. Well-written story about two people hiding from painful pasts. Jasper is a man who can find anything/anyone but is hiding a disfigurement (and himself) behind a mask. Olivia is a young woman and mother who ran away and hides from the humiliation and fear following a rape. The two meet in an isolated location and learn to trust and heal before facing social obstacles (including her rapist) as a team. ❤️ #romantsy
