I did not like this at first, although it did keep my attention. I kept reading, and I got sucked when the protagonist finally started fighting back for herself. Some would say there was a shocking trust at the end, but it was exactly what I suspected. However, there were some good twists in the end. ⭐⭐⭐

This was way better than I thought it was going to be. When I first started, I wasn‘t super invested and as it went along, it really grabbed my interest. There was a lot of suspense and the twist really took me by surprise. I thought it ended really well and I really enjoyed it a lot!

I just finished this book last week, it was a true breath of fresh air. Another of my favourite authors. This is her first book in a new genre, psychological thriller. I guessed the ending but that‘s just me, however it‘s a great read.

Marianne has 2 twin boys and a step daughter. Her husband is an attractive surgeon that belittles everything his wife does and talks about. He is truly a crazy control freak that makes Marianne's life a living hell. When she finds out he is cheating on her she decides to get back at them.
On the cover of the book it says it is a psychological thriller and they are not joking this book truly is that. One of best psychological books.

My introduction to Sue Watson's books and it did not disappoint.
