pickAt first I thought I had everything figured out. When the twist came, I exclaimed out loud in disbelief. McFadden‘s repetitious passages and phrases drive me crazy, but I like her books for the complete shockers. I can handle not the best written books if they can pack a punch, and hers does.
In this one, a young couple become stranded by a blizzard at a for sale house they wanted to see. They wait out the storm there and discover things…
 bailed
bailedThis started out like a good horror book. I expected a love story from the rich Ryan, but fourteen percent in, I find an r-word scene. My mother‘s library friend read the spoilers, and Ryan doesn‘t get punished. It‘s depressing when men like that have all of the money. I am bailing on this book.

pickThis story was good, but it could have been a lot better. I didn't trust Sam at all. I was surprised by the twist. I didn't really care for the ending but it could lead to a part 2 if the author cares to do that. If I say more it will ruin it for others. Definitely worth the read.

 pick
pickA dark, unsettling and disturbing read in all the best of ways.Told between alternating time lines, it was a captivating read that had me on the Swanson rollercoaster and ready to ride.Just when I was smugly thinking I knew where things were going,Peter expertly showed me he is the writer of this book and I am just clueless and along for the ride.A thought provoking read that will have you questioning peoples morals and motivations ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

pickAs a new nurse practitioner at a maximum-security prison, Brooke Sullivan is taught three crucial rules:
Treat all prisoners with respect.
Never reveal any personal information.
Never EVER become too friendly with the inmates.
But nobody knows that Brooke has already broken the rules. Nobody knows about her intimate connection to Shane Nelson, one of the penitentiary's most notorious and dangerous inmates

pickHeld captive from the first chapter,it was another thriller read that was just too good to put down that I ended up reading in one day.The tension and suspense were almost too much for me to bear whilst reading this book, it was such a wild ride. The darkness of some of the characters and the twists left me spellbound by Jennifer's writing. One of my favourite thriller writers an autobuy author for me, her books are truly addictive reading.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
