⭐⭐⭐ I had a hard time finishing this one. As much as I loved Rachel and Nick's story, I found there were way too many characters. I couldn't remember who half of them were. Maybe if I would have been already familiar with Asian family lineage and clans it would have made it clearer. #crazyrichasians #kevinkwan

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I hesitate between giving this book 3 or 4 stars. I really enjoyed reading this book up to about half of it. If it had ended there, it would have been a 4 1/2 stars for me. The second half of the book almost seems like a totally different story... and unfortunately, it's not as good. The rhythm changes and most of the characters as well. I decided to give it a 4 stars anyway as the narrator of the audiobook was awesome! I loved her voice!

Just finished reading this one last night. Really enjoyed it. Maddie, a 12-year-old teenager is taken from the family home in the middle of the night while everyone is asleep. Some evidence is found in the woods behind the house but the police force refuses to reveal what it is. Every one is considered a suspect.. even more so when videos are found.

Started this one in Mexico and finished it on the plane. It was a quick and easy read. I'd give it a 3.5 stars. I would have loved to see a bit more of the Hawaiian vibe in the story. Some situations the characters go through are just hilarious! Especially the bathroom scene 😂🤣.

I don't know if it is because I just wasn't in the mood for a YA novel but I would rate this one ⭐⭐⭐1/2. I could see where it was headed right from the start. I guess I loved the cover more than I liked the story. I would recommend it for fellow readers looking for an easy rom-com read.

Did not make it to my "pick" list. Many scenes are predictable and there isn't anything much to keep us wanting more. Although I enjoyed the evolution of the main character in terms of self-esteem, I think it should have been exploited further.

This man is completely mad! Summer, an all-American teenage girl, is abducted by a maniac who keeps calling her Lily. This story, told through three alternative voices, got me hooked right away. Although it does feel a bit rushed and predictable at the end, I think it's still worth reading!

This crime thriller is slightly confusing at first as there are different settings and so many characters. It can be read as a stand alone story but I guess I would have benefited from reading the first DI Charlotte novel. The story is dark and twisted and I didn't particularly enjoy the intensity of the violent acts on children. I guess I wasn't the targeted audience.
