The Porter brothers were raised to live and die by Three Rules.
One, a Porter always keeps whats his.
Two, a Porter stands his ground.
Three
Dustin never had to search for his true love. They used to play and get in trouble together, shared a playpen, and their mothers used to be best friends. But that was before their fathers made them enemies and changed the course of their lives. Now the Porters stayed on their side of the mountain while the Hayes stayed on theirs.
Believing it was easier to coexist as frenemies with Jessie Hayes rather than changing the Porter stubborn ways, Dustin was content with booty calls, raising his son, and growing weed as a side business until he heard her screams. Now he was going to show a murderer just how much they had underestimated this Porter brother. And he was going to have to break his fathers last rule: Leave no enemy standing to claim the enemy that held his heart.

To my surprise, I liked it. I‘ve always thought Dustin was the best Porter brother and although Greer figured into this one more heavily than Tate, all the woo woo healing gifts of the Porters came into play in this one and made more sense. Jessie‘s brothers and cousins are big jack wagons too. But I enjoyed the Shade sightings and Lucky as well. So give it a try @CoverToCoverGirl @theresidentromantic @LaurenReads

CoverToCoverGirl High praise indeed! Looking forward to it more now. I‘m willing to suffer through anything to hang out with #Shade for a few. 😊. Happy this is not so bad. I can‘t understand how #TheLastRiders can be so good but the Porter‘s are just mediocre at best. 🤯 6y
CocoReads And the predators are just bleh. I don‘t get it either. 6y

This was the best of the three Porter brothers books. I really liked the build up and history of Dustin and Jessie‘s relationship. I cried and laughed. #thelastriders and Shade cameos were great😍 #romantsy #romance

Getting ready to start this, I mean, probably not until tonight since I have to leave for work. Best Porter cover, but my expectations are low. 🤞for a Shade sighting-or any of the Riders really. 😂 @LaurenReads @CoverToCoverGirl @theresidentromantic @Daughter-of-words

CoverToCoverGirl Ahhhh.. Shade ❤️❤️❤️ 6y
CocoReads I‘m only on chapter 1 so no Shade yet. 😢 6y

Starting this tomorrow. Low expectations for a Porter brother‘s book, but fingers crossed for a Shade sighting 😍 @CoverToCoverGirl @Daughter-of-words @CocoReads @theresidentromantic

CoverToCoverGirl Ahhh... Shade.. say Hi from all of us if and when you see him! 🤣😊 (edited) 6y
CocoReads It‘s the best cover for a porter book so that‘s something. But yeah, a Shade sighting would be fantastic! 6y
Lauren_reading @CocoReads Right - I was pleasantly surprised by the cover 6y

Lauren_reading @CoverToCoverGirl Ha!! I literally yelled “yes!!!” And got a weird look from my husband 😂 (edited) 6y
CoverToCoverGirl If he‘s not a reader, like my husband, they just don‘t get how involved we get in our book worlds! I‘ve been on the receiving end of a few of those kind of weird looks myself! 🙄🤣 How are you finding the book? 6y
Lauren_reading @CoverToCoverGirl The best Porter book. I really liked it,even cried a bit 😜 the healing stuff isn‘t my favorite though. 6y
