I said I would do no work today but reading all of these in the heat wave doesn‘t count really 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ ( planning a little puppet drama unit for my grade 5‘s to put on for grade ones and our grade 2 buddies)

Each to their own but I could never. It begs some questions was this an airport impulse purchase?, are they not enjoying it ?, are they the dump it after you read it sort? Seriously it was sopping I don‘t know how they were able to turn the pages. Lots of readers at the pool makes my heart glad, kids too. 🥰

Ruthiella I loaned a paperback once to a work colleague who clearly read it poolside. It was WRECKED when he returned it. So I quietly trashed it and bought myself a new copy. 😂 2y

Cuilin @Ruthiella oh no!! my daughter lent a book to a boy when they were in high school. It got wet/destroyed and he replaced it!! 5 years later and they‘re now dating! 2y

Read the Spanish translation of this to Jimena this afternoon. I loved it! Very sweet. What a nice twist that Gerald couldn't enjoy the fun costumes piggie put on without her there.

What‘s wrong with Gerald?

Piggy is trying so hard to make his best friend feel better but nothing is working. There must be something he can do to make Gerald happy again!

Honestly, does Mo Willems ever disappoint in children‘s books? A wonderful story from the Elephant and Piggy collection. Perfect for children of all ages!

LoverOfLearning I love these books. I used this to tutor my little cousin. They got him interested in reading. As I would be the pig and he would be the elephant. And we would be silly together while learning and developing vocabulary and speech skills. 6y
