A quick, quirky little Trollope. Almost tongue in cheek in tone, and much less a saga than his other novels, this deals with a very strong-willed daughter and a very bad suitor. Being Victorian, her triumph comes at great cost. Not one of his masterpieces, but a fun quick read. #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks

Lcsmcat @chris.wolak His most known works are the Palliser novels and the Barsetshire novels, but they don‘t have to be read in order to work. I recommend The Eustace Diamonds or The Way We Live Now as good ones to start with, but I haven‘t read one I don‘t like. 4y
