On May 31st 1811, Jane wrote to Cassandra, “Have you remembered to collect peices (sic) for the patchwork - we are at a standstill”.

mabell Great choice! I would love to see how designs have changed over the years. It definitely is a huge time commitment to quilt (says someone with a half finished quilt in the basement). 3y
