Thomas Polk delivers 12 lectures defining the science of addiction, different types such as drugs, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, and even gambling, porn and video games. He breaks down the brain and its responses to different stimuli and the why we become addicted and who may be more susceptible to addiction. Why do we crave certain things and what exactly is considered addiction. It is an insightful, non emotional look at what plagues many lives.
