White: The Circle Series | Ted Dekker
Time Is Running Out In Two Realities. In one world, a lethal virus threatens to destroy all life as scientists and governments scramble to find an antidote. In the other, a forbidden love could forever destroy the ragtag resistance known as The Circle. Thomas can bridge both worlds, but he is quickly realizing that he may not be able to save either. In this mind-bending adventure, Thomas must find a way to rewrite history as he navigates a whirlwind of emotions and events surrounding a pending apocalypse. The fate of two worlds comes down to one man's choice--and it is a most unlikely choice indeed. Life. Death. Love. Nothing is as it seems. Yet all will forever be transformed by the decisions of one man in the final hours of the Great Pursuit.

blog_gal I love this book! Have you read any of rachelle dekkers books? 7y
GlitterGirl @blog_gal yes! I have read THE CHOOSING, her first novel and the rest of the trilogy is on my TBR list! Have you read the rest of the circle trilogy and the rest of the 'books of history'? Or any other of Ted Dekker's work? 7y
blog_gal @maatje Yes I loved Rachelle's first book. I didn't enjoy the second as much. I love the first 4 lost books. The final two are pretty good. All of the circle books are great! Ted Dekkers other works (especially his thrillers) have darker themes, but by showing how dark darkness really is, it highlights how good the light is. My favorite books of his are the lost books and the circle series. (edited) 7y

Reading this felt like what was happening in Thomas' "dream" world was the only significant matter in the book. Don't get me wrong, the dream world was interesting & the spirituality behind the love story was cute.. I just didn't care much about it. In that world good and evil were SO easy to tell apart, in the "real" world not so much. That's what made the story exciting to me.

The storyline is good, I'm just frustrated with how it turned out.
